Longest LJ entry thus far. This one's for you, Linsey. A clip of almost's, slams, and a few lands. Oh yeah, and a second or two of Hotdog with no pants on. Brace yourself, son.

First things first, I haven't updated in a long time and I most likely won't be updating for a long time after this either. Reason being -

Fucking sweet, right?

Now, on to the actual footage part. This was filmed on my 18th birthday, March 5th 2007, which means it is damn near a year old. Instead of getting shit faced drunk and having a party, some homies bought me a pizza and we went filming. Man, I'm a dork. Anyways, just watch the footage, I've been keeping it on my computer for sentimental value, and to remind myself that I need to get out more. Listen closely after Mikey falls and you'll hear some fine racism being spewed. Gotta love the south-end.

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis bordering what is now Cairo, Egypt in Africa, and is the only remaining member of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is believed to have been built as a tomb for Fourth dynasty Egyptian pharaoh Khufu and constructed over a 20 year period concluding around 2560 BC.

The pyramid at Riot Skatepark was built a few years ago, and as far as I can tell from the things I saw this evening, it was built for Aaron Vincent to do perfect tricks over. You won't find that in any Social Studies book, but luckily I happened to get evidence of it on film.

Getcho learn on.

So, after finally getting my hands on a copy of Static 3 I got to see Tony Manfre ollie over the Death Banks rail (check Matt Ballard's Myspace photos if you're not familiar). Well, it turns out that about 2 or 3 days after Tony Manfre ollie'd it, Mikey Roges was informed of the feat. That didn't get him too stoked, seeing as how he wanted to do it for his Tiny Skateshop video-part. We set out to film the trick with hopes that maybe, just maybe the Tiny video would come out before Static 3. I guess we just weren't that lucky, eh? Sorry fellas "the early bird gets the worm". Luckily for you fine folks out in internet land, that means me posting the footage of Mikey's ollie isn't such a big deal anymore (or is it?).

Also, Mikey got one of the last tricks in "Goin' Bananas" friends section, which means BGP's for me. Now you get to see the alternate angle of his FSBSBSBS down cinemas, too.

Peep it.

If you're looking at this right now, you most likely know who I am and what I'm about, so I'll spare you the intro. I decided to make this LiveJournal so that I can post footage on here that is either 1.) Not going to make it into a video. or 2.)Not long enough or good enough for me to post on theProgram.

With that said, here comes the throw-away. A few weeks ago Drew Holnagel, Gary Hall, Alex "Hotdog" Maxfield, Jeremy Riggs and myself decided to take a trip to the DC Skate Plaza in Kettering, Ohio. Halfway there the clouds became gray and the sun was nowhere to be found. Fuck it, we're pressing on regardless. "If it's raining there, we can always just go to Ollies". Lucky for us the clouds hit the dipset button and the sun came out for a while, at least long enough for Gary to get all of these tricks and a few more.....all first try.

P.S. - I just downloaded the newest version of the old editing software I was using, so expect something new to be posted on theP very soon. After I re-learn how to edit of course.
